Endemic Birds of Sri Lanka Tour - WQBT06
This tour covers three national parks (2 with jeep safaris and one with a 6 km hike along a nature trail where you can see a scenic spot called Worlds End and Bakers waterfall). And also this tour package include a most well-known rainforest in Sri Lanka the Sinharaja Rainforest which recognize as a world heritage site by UNESCO. The main target of this tour package is to see all the endemic birds in a humanly possible way following ethical and responsible tourism. This tour will be a wonderful experience for you where you never forget.
ITINERARY
Day 01
Welcome to an unforgettable Sri Lankan tropical birding experience to cover all endemic birds in our miraculous island. Up on arrival guests are greeted by one of our friendly tour leaders and escorted to our comfortable vehicle and drive to the hotel. After quick check-in guests are briefed about the entire tour plan and given the check list of birds in Sri Lanka. Birding at Kithulgala, Makandawa Forest Reserve during the evening.
Day 02
Early morning leave the hotel premises for birding in the village and the forest. After delicious breakfast leave for Nuwara Eliya for overnight stay during evening birding in the Galways Land National Park.
Day 03
After breakfast visit Horton Plains National Park for bird watching and hike, late lunch en-route and travel to Udawalawa for overnight stay.
Day 04
Full day jeep safari in Udawalawa National Park late evening travel to Deniyaya for overnight stay.
Day 05
Early morning birding in Sinharaja Rainforest, Deniyaya to catch the endemics. After lunch leave for Kudawa for overnight stay.
Day 06
Full day birding in Sinharaja Rainforest, Kudawa. Evening travel to Colombo for overnight stay, shopping in Colombo for souvenirs.
Day 07
After breakfast leave for departure; morning bird watching in the World 1st RAMSAR wetland city, Colombo depending on the time of departure.
