    Covers five UNESCO world heritage sites namely Anuradhapura, Polonnaruwa, Sigiriya (8th wonder of the world), Dambulla and Kandy. Also includes Nalanada, Yapahuwa, several famous temples in Kandy for wood carvings and other sculpturing works.

    ITINERARY

    Pickup from airport and head to Anuradhapura for overnight stay, on the way visit Yapahuwa Rock Fortress.

    Visit important cultural sites in Anuradhapura; Sri Maha Bodhi, Ruwanmaliseya, Isurumuniya, Maha Mewuna Gardens, Abayagiriya. Overnight stay in Anuradhapura.

    Visit Ritigala en-route to Polonnaruwa, overnight stay in Polonnaruwa. Visit Parakrama Samudraya, King Maha Parakramabahu statue in the evening.

    Visit Pollonnaruwa ancient Kingdom, A UNESCO world heritage site, Polonnaruwa Vatadage, Nishshanka Latha Mandapaya, Gal viharaya/ Girithale.

    Visit Sigiriya Rock Fortress, Sigiriya another UNESCO world heritage site and Dambulla Cave Temple. Overnight stay in Sigiriya.

    Travel to Kandy and visit Matale Aluvihare and Nalanda Gedige. Evening visit the Temple of the tooth relic (Sri Dhaladha maligawa) in time for the pooja. Overnight stay in Kandy.

    Visit Gadaladeniya, Lankathilake, Aembaekke Dewalaya en-route to Colombo. If time permits visit Kelaniya Temple and in the late evening visit Gagaramaya Temple. Overnight stay in Colombo.
